Febco 825Y Series 1" Bronze Reduced Pressure Zone Backflow Preventer Assembly, Quarter Turn Shutoff, NPT End Connections, Y Pattern, Flood Sensor with SentryPlus Alert Technology for Relief Valve

The Febco F825EBV 1" Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly is a Y pattern reduced pressure zone assembly designed to prevent the reverse flow of high hazard (toxic) fluids found in the water from entering into the potable water supply due to back siphonage and or backpressure in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. It is used in water services to industrial plants, hospitals, morgues, mortuaries, and chemical plants and is also used in irrigation systems, boiler feed, water lines and other installations requiring maximum protection. This assembly consists of a bronze body, threaded quarter turn ball valves, test cocks, spring loaded Y pattern check valves, and one hydraulically dependent differential relief valve. This backflow assembly includes flood sensor with SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect excessive water discharges from the relief valve. When activated through an add-on sensor connection kit, the flood sensor can send an alert to notify the user of potential flooding. Add-on sensor connection kits are available for both BMS and cellular communications.
