A professionally applied premium grade clear lacquer is the only way to finish a barstool with one-of-a-kind, hand peeled logs. Artisans at Montana Woodworks carefully use very sharp, old-fashioned draw knives to remove the outer bark while allowing just a bit of the inner bark or "cambium" layer to stay intact. This creates the wonderful, contrasting look of the "Montana Collection". Comes fully assembled. Seat height is 30". Capacity 350 pounds. 20-year limited warranty from manufacturer included.
